A little about me

I’ve always been a word girl. When I was learning to read, Dick and Jane (and Spot, of course) were my heroes. They helped me learn to make words from the letters on the page and that was the best super power I could have imagined. My first long-form book? Charlotte’s Web, read out loud from start to finish with my (patient as a saint) stepmother.

I remember writing my first short story in grade school, a piece of fiction. I remember my first published poetry in the high school quarterly. They both mean as much to me as the first time I suggested we stop printing an office newsletter for employees who spent most of their time with our clients. We replaced it with an office-wide audio news series for people to dial into at their convenience from anywhere in the world each week—groundbreaking in the 90s! That experience taught me to question everything and to be ambitious about finding new ways of communicating. If I wasn’t excited about my work, no one else would be, either. And I love my work.

But that’s not really what you care about. You want to know how I can help you bring your story to life, whether it’s to advance a business agenda, engage your team members or position you for success professionally. My credentials are available on my LinkedIn profile. To find out what I can really do for you, though, we’ll have to spend a little time talking about your story and goals. There’s no such thing as a one-size-fits-all red thread.

At this time, I’m a proud sole proprietor business owner ready to collaborate with you on a project, engage as a committed external team member and/or help you say what you mean in a way that’s authentically you. Landing your red thread is what drives my passion for my work.
